Handicap International Canada - Anthony Lemke
Handicap International Canada (HI) announced that actor Anthony Lemke has been appointed as one of the organization’s ambassador in Canada. HI is an independent international aid organization that works alongside persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in situations of poverty, exclusion, conflict and disaster. The appointment of Lemke coincides with December 3rd which is globally recognized as International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Syria, 4 years later: the story of Mohamad
Mohamad was injured in Syria (left leg amputation + external fixators on the right leg), and came to Lebanon with his wife and son to access better treatment. During this session he walks for the first time without any assistance.

Le Traité destiné à réguler le commerce des armes a été ouvert à la signature le 3 juin 2013 au siège des Nations Unies. Des grands pays exportateurs d'armes, comme l'Allemagne, la France et le Royaume-Uni, ont signé le texte de cet instrument de réglementation des transferts d'armements.

Earthquake in Nepal: 1 year later, discover Khembro's new life
In this video from Handicap International, we catch up with Khembro (Khendo) and Nirmala as they receive their prosthesis at the National Disabled Fund of #Kathmandu. Khembro and Nirmala had both an amputation of their leg after being injured during the 2015 #earthquake in #Nepal.
